Yuri Zhirkov

Yuri Zhirkov is a retired Russian professional footballer who was known for his ability to play as a left winger or left-back. He began his professional career with Russian club Dynamo Moscow, where he quickly established himself as one of the top players in the country. During his time with Dynamo Moscow, Zhirkov won several domestic titles, including two Russian Premier League titles, two Russian Cups, and a Russian Super Cup.

It was his performances with Dynamo Moscow that caught the attention of foreign clubs, and in 2009, Zhirkov made a move to the English Premier League club Chelsea.
